Welcome to the Gamer's Podcast Blog #1: Welcome Letter!

Hello everyone Chuck here from the Gamer's Podcast! I'd like to introduce you to an exciting new blog about video games and the intricacies of the gaming industry. If you don't know who I am or haven't heard any of my blogs, my name is Charles Caralluzzo but you can call me "Chuck". I'm a gamer and have been for about 22 years now. I've played over five hundred titles including Halo, Mass Effect, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic and other great titles. The purpose of my blog is to discuss video games in general and certain hot topics around the industry. Some points I will discuss are things like game company business practices, what makes a good game, game streaming and game economies. If any of these topics interest you I suggest you check out my podcast titled "Gamer's Podcast".

I have just recently posted my first successful podcast titled: Gamer's Podcast Episode One: Shady Gaming Practices. In this podcast I discuss, the practice of selling incomplete games and loot boxes. I discuss the past of how games were not always sold the way they are now. I also discuss how in the present day in age there is a movement to stop gaming companies from selling incomplete games and pay to win loot boxes. Finally, I also discuss what the future holds for these practices and what you as a gamer can do to get involved and helped bring about change.

This blog will be the start of many posts I will make over the course of my podcasting. I'd like to use this platform as a means to discuss what will be coming up and also fill in some ideas and discuss what I've been playing recently and what games I am looking forward to. Think of this blog as a way for me to fill you in, on my daily routine and how I gather information on my podcasts and when you can expect my podcasts to go live. I hope you'll join me on my journey to learn more about the gaming industry and perhaps join me in my discussions about video games!
